(as a relative),

My mother was taken into hospital on Monday morning unwell. The support from the emergency department was outstanding, not only did they care so much for my mum but they looked after us as a family nothing was too much bother. From staff to management they went beyond the duty of care. We as a family cannot thank you enough.

Dear Nikky

Thank you very much for getting in touch and for your comments in relation to the care your mother received whilst having to attend the Emergency Department here at Wishaw General Hospital. I have no doubt this was a very worrying time for you and I am pleased that you felt that the staff were very supportive to your mother as well as your family.

It is always nice to get positive feedback and I will ensure this will be shared with the team within the Emergency Department.
