COMPLIMENTS

My wife is currently an out-patient at the Churchill Hospital having had recent surgery for Breast Cancer and is undertaking a programme of Chemotherapy to be followed by Radiotherapy.

There is no doubt that the long term dedication and skill the suregery team ensure the best of surgery. The after care in the Jane Ashley unit is second to none and we cannot praise the staff and facilities enough, it is a wonderful place.

The Oncology team is most caring, helpful and re-assuring. This coupled with the highly efficient and friendly treatment from the Day Patient staff provides for a most satisfying experience under the circumstances.

We must however, single one person out for particular praise and that is the Breast Care Sister. From the initial diagnosis causing the understandable shock throughout the resultant treatment her help, support and guidance and most importantly expert care is outstanding. Her manner is most re-assuring such that when she is around we know everything will be OK. as she always has the situation in hand.

Finally may we congratulate you on employing such high calibre staff and may the NHS Trust continue to go from strength to strength.
