"Doctors helped my dad get better"

About: Royal Bolton Hospital / Urology

(as a relative),

My father was admitted into hospital because he had a urine infection. He is elderly and cannot speak English and is hard of hearing. Due to his confused state we were very worried that he would not be able to cope in hospital. The ward staff (F3 & F5) were very accommodating. They allowed one family member to be present with him all the time. Maybe this option should be offered to all patients. This really helped him get better quickly and was also reassuring for the family.
