"It was pointless"

About: Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust / Eating disorders

(as the patient),

I had been an inpatient at the YCED on a number of occasions each time I was there was the same. I didn't feel it helped me at all too many contradictions between staff on the rules e. g one member of staff thought it was o. k to put a certain condiment with something while the other didn't and they did the exact opposite to what they were telling patients to do. I felt no support given and felt alone the majority of the time. the yced I felt had more facilities for the patient at a bigger Bmi when been admitted theres no facilities for the lower bmi patients. all in all it was pointless

Dear Katraya1

Thank you for sharing your experience of YCED on Patient Opinion. I am sorry to hear you have had a negative experience.

Unfortunately on a public website, such as this, it is not appropriate to go into personal or clinical details. However, the manager of the service would be more than happy to discuss your concerns further. If you felt that a meeting would be helpful, please contact our PALS service on 0800 052 5790.

Please be assured that as a Trust, we take feedback very seriously as it provides us with an opportunity to improve the care and services we provide.

Thank you for taking the time to post your comments.

Kind regards

Clare Blackburn
