"Emergency Addmission"

About: Scarborough General Hospital

having come to Scarborough for a weeks Holiday I was admitted as an emergency, Ending up on Beech ward, very ill with kidney infection, and placed into the care of the Consultant and the doctor on Beech Ward where I could not fault the care and treatment, of Both Doctors and ward staff, who made me feel very welcome, and helped to console my Wife's fears,as she was now alone in a strange place. After 9 days on Beech Ward I was discharged, and able to go home, where I will be eternally grateful for the help and care I received,

Thank you for taking the time to contact us.

I am very sorry to hear that you became ill with a Kidney Infection whilst on Holiday in Scarborough, I hope you managed to enjoy some of your time there.

It is great to hear that all the staff on Beech ward made you feel welcome and that you could not fault your care and treatment. I am also happy to hear that staff were able to reassure your wife at what I am sure was a very stressful time.

I hope you are now on the mend and that you get to come back to Scarborough some time soon and be able to enjoy your time away without further illness.

Kind regards
