"Labour ward midwives"

About: Royal Hampshire County Hospital / Maternity care

On Thursday 22nd of September 2016 I went into hospital at 9.30 pm and gave birth to my beautiful baby boy at 11pm. I just wanted to thank the 2 midwives that cared for me through labour. They were both so lovely and friendly and made me feel so much more at ease from the minute I arrived. When I moved to the ward one midwife came and gave me and my partner a hug to congratulate us. I don't think people that work at hospitals get enough credit for the hard work and care they give. Thank you so much to everyone but especially to the 2 midwives on labour ward.

Thank you for your feedback regarding our maternity services at Royal Hampshire County Hospital and congratulations on your new baby. I am always pleased to read lovely comments, like yours, on the care and treatment patients have received. I have shared your kind words with the maternity team, who I am sure will be able to pass on your thanks to the two midwives you mention.
