"Attended A and E last year at ..."

What I liked

Attended A and E last year at 0100hrs with a piece of metal in my eye. Although I was not in pain, just discomfort, the staff were great and attended to me quickly and effectively.

What could be improved

Nothing, Follow up from hospital to attend the eye clinic was first class.

The only element that was not made clear to me was the pain I would experience the following day after the initial treatment but that was probably my fault not wanting to take pain killers !

Anything else?

Reading some of the negativity here confirms to me many people have not experienced health care in the 3rd world where access to health care is base on the ability of a patient to pay. Believe me the NHS is a wonderful service even if it does have some failings. The front line staff are world class !!
