I had my first baby in July this year at Barnet Hospital and I had a very bad experience. I will write briefly as it is very hard still thinking about the traumatic experience. My prenatal care was very good and I was looking forward to having my baby there but it all went downhill from there. I was left waiting unattended by doctors to the point that my baby ended up requiring specialist care in the NNU from a low risk pregnancy. Then on Victoria ward I had to wait 2 hours for pain relief after asking as the pain was extremely bad, i asked at 22pm and received them at midnight. I felt also that communication from the nursing staff was very poor on that ward. I will definitely not have my second baby there or use any other service.
