My 5 year old daughter went in on Tuesday and had to stay over night for her test on Wednesday. They whole team were amazing and caring and really made her feel better throughout her crying. Her favourite was loving and really showed they care for children, they made my daughter smile and was always happy to see them. The 2 doctors that were caring for her were very efficient and again great with children and really made her feel relaxed throughout her hourly blood tests. The playroom carers were just amazing and my daughter loved playing in there, they were always on hand if you need anything and they really made an effort to get things out of the cupboard specially for my daughter ( she loved making herself and her sister a bracelet) Then to top things off they went so far as to get her a present and a certificate for being such a brave girl which was the highlight of the whole experience i would say.

Absolutely brilliant.

My sincere apologies for the delay in responding to this lovely feedback. Thank you so much for taking the time to write about your experience with your daughter on Bellhouse-Drayson. It is wonderful to hear that our staff were so caring and efficient in treating her. It must be quite a skill to keep a young one calm during such frequent tests! The play specialists are indeed an invaluable asset and it's wonderful to hear that they went to such efforts to keep your daughter entertained and busy; the certificate must have been very well received! Your comments will be passed on to the teams on the ward.
