"Unsure of next step"

About: Addenbrooke's Hospital

on the 4th September, whilst playing football I heard a popping sound from my knee, followed by pain and swelling. Almost instantly I couldn't move my leg, nor put pressure on it. After a trip to a&p and a 3 hour wait I was seen by a dr, had an X-ray and had an appointment booked for fracture clinic in a week and a halves time. The appointment came, I was seem by a lovely Dr who examined my knee, they said they will book me in for an urgent MRI scan, followed by my next consultants appointment. Weeks have now passed and I have the consultants appointment for the next of next month but no 'urgent' MRI. I not sure what I need to do next? Can anyone advise?
