"HASLAND WARD"

I have just spent a week on Hasland Ward and cannot praise the staff and care I received highly enough. The medical care from the nursing staff was first class with plenty of information given, involvement encouraged and time taken to explain any issues. Staff were obviously knowledgeable and well trained, not just in medical terms but in people skills. The ward was kept spotlessly clean by a team of staff who obviously took the matter seriously and there was a good choice of menu with the food of a good standard. Whilst in I had a domestic problem which the staff listened to and took the necessary steps to help me deal with. I would highly recommend this ward, I was treated with kindness and as an individual and I hope that, should I have to be an in-patient again, I could be accommodated there. Well done the whole team. If I had any complaint it would be regarding the discharge process but those problems were not down to the ward.
