"Knee replacement surgery"

From my initial consultation, through my admission, surgery, discharge and post discharge, the service and expertise have been outstanding. At all times I have been consulted and given all information enabling me to make informed choices and my choices respected. The nursing team are professional, knowledgable and follow the principles of the NMC,, the supporting staff were attentive, took responsibility and were a credit to the whole team. Housekeeping support team appeared to be fully included in the team, food was excellent and definitely contributed to the whole experience. The physio team were attentive, spent as much time as I needed and gave me an accurate account of my recovery. At no time during my admission did I have a lack of confidence in my treatment. Finally, as a nurse I maybe extra sensitive to my care and treatment, however I was able to experience first class health care in my patient role. I have no hesitation in recommending Thorbury Hospital and the consultant.
