About: Northumbria Specialist Emergency Care Hospital

I was admitted late on a saturday night after transfer from Hexham hospital. The reason was a suspected mini stroke, saw by doctor immediately and had CT scan - they also made sure my husband and I had something to eat. Admitted to stroke ward and on sunday morning saw OT by 9.00am and Consultant by 10.00. MRI carried out after lunch and discahrged by tea time.Whole scary experience was made bareable by fantastic staff from beginning to end.Thank God for such a fantastic experience from our NHS and that what it should be like.

Dear Madam,

What a great review – thank you for sharing it with me.

It was really lovely to read how positive you are about our services and I am so pleased you feel the care you received from us was fantastic. I can imagine how scary this experience must have been for you and I am glad our staff made it bearable. I will make sure all the teams involved with your care get to see your lovely comments, I know they will greatly appreciate them.

Best wishes,

Jessica
