"Pacemaker box change"

About: Southampton General Hospital

Although I had a long wait in reception despite arriving at the appointed time this was the only down side to the experience. Once the process got under way I could not have been treated better, all the staff were extremely caring and professional and the ward area was clean and tidy. The process of the change and particularly the aftercare was explained to me very throughly, nothing was too much trouble. I could see the pressure that the staff are under but despite this they coped very well. I was naturally concerned about the hospital visit but again the staff were reassuring and put me at ease.
