"long cold wait"

About: Basildon University Hospital / Accident and emergency

Was brought in by ambulance vomiting and in pain and then left in the waiting room in a wheelchair for three hours, a very old lady was in a wheelchair, alone and had already been waiting for over three hours, other patients had to help her as she was also vomiting and no nurses paid her any attention or help. The doors to the waiting room were open and it was very cold but when a patient asked if the doors could be closed he was told they were broken and could not be closed until an engineer came to fix them. It was the middle of the night and many people asked for blankets because it was so cold. I went to the hospital because I was sick and needed help but was dumped in the very cold waiting room for so long that I felt even worse by the time I got out. The worst hospital by far.
