I was referred by my GP for an ultra sound and received a telephone appointment within a week. I was given very clear instructions on where the location of the main X Ray Deoartmebt was and what I needed to do to prepare so the visit was. a success.

On entry to the X Ray department I waited a short while before being seen promptly. The staff were very friendly, knowledgable and treated me with the utmost dignity. They provided clear and helpful about my condition and advised that I should contact my GP within two days. In fact they delivered the results of the ultra sound scan to my GP within a matter of hours resulting in an appointment with the GP by 4.50pm the same day. This has enabled the GP to make an early referral for further tests. When asked which hospital I had absolutely no hesitation in requesting Kings Mill. My only other feedback from this visit on 26 September is of a non clinical nature. That is the waste bin in the toilet I had to use just outside the ultra sound room was overflowing with paper towels. That in no way reflects on the excellent clinical care I received during my appointment.
