"friendly staff"

About: Stafford Hospital

(as the patient),

What I liked

friendly staff

What could be improved

treatment should be offered more quickly. My condition only requires an injection. It is not releived by pain killers taken orally.I waited 3 weeks for an appointment with consultant and find I must wait untill the end of June (18 wks) for treatment which is so simple that a G.P. carried it out prevously.sadly the GP left so I have to use hospital services.I am in agony. So unfair.More resources should be used in this department.18 wks is fine for some illness but not for acute conditions and excrutiating pain.

Anything else?

The signage on the two lifts needs clarifying. When mobility is restricted its no fun getting in a lift that doesnt go where you thought and have to retrace your steps and start again

I am very sorry to hear that you are unhappy with the speed of your treatment. So this can be raised with the department that treated you I would be grateful if you could contact our Advice Centre on 01785 230811.

I will pass your comments about the lift signage on to our Facilities Department so they can address your concerns.
