About: Chester Le Street Hospital / Gynaecology

I was slightly nervous on the lead up to my appointment to what the outcome might be after a recent scan for an emergency procedure showed another potential problem. Throughout my appointment where I was examined, had scans, gave blood, spoke to the consultant and a specialist nurse I was treated with the utmost respect, care and dignity. Every member of staff were supportive and I was never made to feel rushed. My mam was with me throughout and received the same respect as myself. I also include the receptionists and staff in the cafe who were friendly, polite and helpful. A difficult appointment to face but made easier by the fantastic staff involved.
