"Got sent home with appendicitis"

About: Darent Valley Hospital / Accident and emergency

There is absolutely no way I would go back to this hospital, had been up all night with extremely bad abdominal pain and hadn't been able to keep anything down for 2 days so went to my doctors who gave me a letter and said I needed to go a&e as they suspected I had appendicitis. After waiting in a&e for 5 and a half hours I was told I must not be able to deal with pain very well as it was probably just a water infection so was given antibiotics. 2 days later the pain was getting worse and at this point I hadn't been able to keep anything down for 4 days my doctor again sent me to a&e. Where they finally decided to keep me in hospital although they just send me to a ward within telling me what was happening and that I was getting admitted. They finally realised another 2 days later that I had appendicitis
