"Employment Specialist"

I was in secondary services for support with mental health issues and I was concerned about returning to work and I was referred to the employment specialist team. My Employment Specialist has been a great support for me. They were very understanding, emotionally supportive and knowledgeable. Helped me to meet with my employer to enable me to return to work with a graduated return. They offered great advice through emails, meetings and phone calls, I felt fully supported. There has now been a change of management and they are now helping me to meet with my new boss to complete a WRAP – to help me embed back into work again. Without the support from my employment specialist I believe I would not be back in full time work now. They gave me the confidence to return to work – triangulate reflection – listening and understanding and providing help in meetings and helping me to look at things in a positive way while I was in a state of anxiety. I think this service is incredible and cannot thank my Employment Specialist enough!
