I wanted to take the opportunity to say thank you to the nursing and support staff of ward 9a and the surgeon and the surgical team, as well as the anaesthesiologist team I encountered. There is nothing in particular to say other than those people made a distressing few days better by explaining everything to me, reassuring me and just generally looking after me. I just wanted to acknowledge their good work because people are all too often quick to complain but seldom say thanks. So cheers everyone, in the nicest possible way I hope I don't see you again any time soon.
"Thank You"
