About: Borders General Hospital / Cardiology

(as the patient),

I was treated in AAU in the Borders General Hospital Melrose for chest pain and I have nothing but admiration for the staff and Dr McCallum they kept me informed at every stage and reassured my partner all the time answering all our questions and telling us every time they were going to do anything the reason they were doing it. I am happy to say I was sent home the same day with every confidence that I was going to be ok and I am.

Thank you to the wonderful staff at Borders General Hospital.

Dear IAC,

Thank you so much for taking the time to tell us of your experience within Acute Medicine at the Borders General Hospital. We are making a lot of changes within this department currently with an aim to try to improve our patients' experience and so I am really delighted that you felt reassured by the care that you received.
