This morning I attended Salford Royal with severe neck pain.
I was completely dismissed by the doctor who although they did not have sight of the scans, told me they could not turn back time.
Firstly why was I referred to a hospital miles away from home, which was a nightmare to get to for me.
It cost me £3.00 in the car park only to find they had not even got the scans.
How could they suppose they could carry out a sensible consultation without them.
Why wasnt I told before I attended.
Efficiency is about having the right things in place in order to give a complete diagnosis surly!
My own doctor could have told me there was nothing they could do, (Though this is subjective without a scan to look at). Secondly the doctor did not even examine me.
What is going on with the NHS.
I was given no choice on where to go, and centres of excellence are all well and good but they only work for the Doctors, not the patients.
I feel completely disregarded because I am over 60.
