my stay on Ward 7, filled me with anxiousness, as I have had too have my right hip replaced at the age of 52, its something I was very worried about, but however my worries eradicted in that first day, as I had my surgery that day, and was back on the ward, after two hours, where during my recovery my named nurse- looked after me the entire length of their shift, and this was on the first day, in my view Ward 7, typifies what is good about the NHS, all the staff from Domestics, to Auxilliaries, Staff Nurses,
Ward Sisters, Doctors and Physios put their heart and soul into their Ward, and it shows, I would like to say all the nursing staff who attended me, did it with great compassion, care, kindness and humour, twenty fours of the day, nothing was ever too much for the likes of my named Nurse and their other colleagues who helped my disabled brother by assisting us down into the main entrance of the hospital, where we deoarted from home- have too say all senior nurses, Auxilliaries, represent what a good staff is- they get on so well together, and all have a very healthy respect for each others part in Ward 7-I think they show all the very best of what NHS Staff are, and I woudn't hesitate to recommend Ward7 to anyone, because they have good communication skills, good inter-personal skills, and their compassion for their patients is immeasurable, they all do their jobs to the highest of their abilities, and work with ddignity and respect in mind to the patients they care for, and in my view they never did anything without a smile, even in the wee small hours of the night, although I have sought to mention, two nurses by name in particular, the other nursing staff who assisted in my care deserve praise as well, excellent staff, courteous, compassionate and above all a willingness to help even with the most difficult of patients- as I often am-lol, in closing I would just like to say that a lot of criticism has been levelled at hospital catering over the years, well in my opinion this is un-founded, all my meals in my four day stay were excellent, un-like some hospital food which has and always well below par.
"My stay on ward 7 from 16th September to 20th..."
