"I don't feel my mum was cared for properly"

My mum went into Castle Hill a beautiful lady who was totally sane and in my opinion came out in a box and was anything but. I think the ambulance crew who saw her would second that as they asked her all the questions in the back of the ambulance and she answered them all with no hesitation at all.

I think the lack of respect and dignity shown to my mum who was supposed to be making a recovery was diabolical. I feel there was a lack of care by certain members of staff. I feel like my poor beautiful mum died in unnecessary pain despite the family continually asking for help.

In my opinion she was neglected so many times, we were told she climbed over the bars on the bed like a mad person and had two falls. We were also told she had been violent to a member of staff and had to be restrained but I think my mum did not have a single ounce of violence in her body when she went in to hospital. My experience of her was she was a sweet gentle lovely lady and we now have to live with the fact that she has now gone and she died in pain in front of our eyes.

I will never forgive what happened to her.
