"Minor Injuries Unit"

About: Lymington New Forest Hospital

Whilst on holiday in Lymington I needed to attend the Minor Injuries Unit for the replacement of a dressing on my foot.

This was needed as I had developed cellulitis following an insect bite.

I would like to thank the nurses who attended to me for their kind and sympathetic treatment.

Unfortunately, I can't remember their names but I attended at approx. 11 am on Tuesday 6th September and again by appointment on Thursday at 9 a.m. so that we could catch our ferry to the Isle of Wight at 11.20 a.m.

I found all the staff in the Unit, including reception, very pleasant and helpful.

Thankfully, the area on top of my foot is progressing well.

My surgery practice nurse thought the dressing that had been applied was ideal and had worked extremely well.

My grateful thanks again for my treatment which set me on the right path to recovery.
