About: Hereford County Hospital / Accident and emergency

How can this A and E keep going. I was advised to go by our local district nurse after a visit. Turned up to be told there is going to be a long wait, this is difficult when in urine retention and not having a pee for 16 hrs. So another 3 hrs later I saw I doctor who said you should had called your district nurse. After a lengthy explanation the doctor said that they were very busy and would have to wait I was sent back to the waiting room. As we walked past the nurse desk in AE pointed called me a time waister, we decided to go to Worcester was seen straight away 4 hours of emergency surgery and 16 days in hospital. This would not have happened if the doctor had catherterised me in Hereford.
