My daughter went in to have breast reduction surgery due to two slipped discs in her spine & being a 36J cup which added extra weight to her spine on Wednesday 14th September 2016, self pay. She had the pre-op assessment the week before. She went in on the day, got marked up for the op & then the anaesthetist came in to ask a few pre-op questions. They were obnoxious & rude from the minute they walked into the room, didn't fen look at my daughters notes & refused to do the op so my daughter was left crying her eyes out through no fault of her own & left to make her own way home with no apology from the senior staff (the nurses were very good & fuming over the behaviour of this anaesthetist towards a self funding patient). NOT recommended for private patients & God help you if you are NHS, you have no chance. My daughter is so traumatised by the experience she is not even entertaining the thought of breast reduction surgery now, even though the excess weight removed from her surgery would relieve the pressure on her spine, leaving her able to do some exercise to work off her excess weight. Why do these idiots think breast reduction surgery is cosmetic? People pay a small fortune to have their breasts enhanced, they don't pay a small fortune to have them reduced unless there is a good reason. A formal complaint is being raised.
