"Broken ankle"

About: University Hospital Of North Durham / Trauma and orthopaedics

I was admitted to ward 12 after falling and both breaking my fib and dislocating my tib. I was treated in A&E where they tried to release the dislocation but couldn't. A orthopaedic doctor came to see me whilst still in A&E and managed this. I was operated on the next day. The care recieved from the ambulance staff to the surgeon to the staff who brought the drinks was outstanding. Excellent care, clean ward and very reassuring. Making a steady recovery and would recommend ward 12 highly. Keep up the good work
