We had our daughter delivered at York on 30/08 first of all I want to commend the hard working team of consultants, aneasasists and midwifes on the delivery ward who provided a great level of care during a very tricky c section. Once were transfered to the post natal ward we were treated so differently my partner is a very complex patient and required a little more help and whilst a few of the midwives were great some were so poorly behaved I am surprised they are allowed to get away with it, the way several of your midwifes treated me and my parter was disgusting. Eventually we were allowed to leave after a week as our little girl had been slow at gaining her weight, the following day we had to come back in and were seen on the children's assessment unit again initial treatment was good but was then followed up by what can only be classed as total incompantancy when our daughter blood tests were mixed up with another causing both me and my partner a lot of stress and worry that we did not need. To top this off were constantly being given conflicting messages from your SHO and consultants as to how we could get our daughter to gain weight. Overall very disappointed with our whole experience
"Dissapointed"
