"Visit to undergo a Gastroscopy"

I visited Ormskirk General Hospital today to undergo a Gastroscopy. This is not my usual hospital as I live on the Fylde Coast but the waiting times at my local hospital were very long..I elected to have my procedure done without sedation and was extremely nervous. The staff were marvellous beginning with the nurse who took all my details and did theirvery best to quell my fears, listening and answering all my questions. The team of three who were responsible for undertaking the Gastroscopy were lovely.They explained every step,they were patient, kind and gentle. They made everything bearable and quelled all of my fears..Thank you all for your care and attention in your beautifully clean and friendly hospital.
