I wish to pass on my admiration for ALL the staff in A&E today thanking them for the exemplary care my 5 year old grandson received.

From consultant to nurses they were amazing. He rapidly deteriorated at one point and the paediatricians, anaesthetist and consultant were there immediately. They kept us informed at every stage and clinical decisions were explained clearly. I have been a nurse in the NHS for 45years and I am proud of the NHS but today I have been totally overcome by the care and compassion we experienced. Thankyou

I am very sorry to hear that your grandson was so unwell, I do hope that he is now on the mend.

This is such fantastic feedback to receive, I will be sure to pass this on to all those involved in your grandsons care.

I am so pleased to hear that the staff in our Emergency Department at York Hospital gave your grandson such exemplary care and that you were all kept informed at every stage.

We are also very proud of our NHS and our staff who we know do all that they can to ensure our patients receive a high standard of care. I am very pleased to hear that this was yet another example of that dedication.
