About: Sunderland Royal Hospital / Neurology

My autistic son recently had to have a lumbar puncture. The care and understanding that the MS specialist nurse gave to my son was wonderful. My son suffers from extreme anxiety but the specialist nurse did everything in their power to make a difficult procedure as easy and pain free as possible for him. The aftercare was also wonderful with the specialist nurse calling us two days after the procedure to check on my son and make sure that he was alright. I cannot thank this specialist nurse enough.
