"Bleeding for one year, gynaecologist can't help..."

About: St Mary's Hospital (HQ) / Gynaecology

I started bleeding between periods in autumn 2015 and had US in St. Mary's which shown cyst. I had a referral on that matter in November 2015 to confirm cyst. Appointment was rescheduled for 9 months till June 2016 with no possibility to see the doctor earlier. I did US in different place when was on vacation which shown cyst. During June appointment I was referred to US which shown cyst. With regards to bleeding I was prescribed with Cerazette as I had headaches when previously used combined contraception (ring). During three months I was bleeding much heavier almost non stop. I didn't know when periods start and when end - up to 18 days of bleeding in a month. I was told it's fine during first three months. After three month (18 August) I had an appointment again to discuss cyst and bleeding. I told the doctor that I don't know whether pills help but last period stopped about a week ago and for a week at least I have no bleeding. The cyst is 4cm so concluded as nothing serious which is fine. Today I received copy of the letter from hospital sent to my GP where they talk about my condition. Quote:"She (me) says she has never had intermenstrual bleeding in the past just prolonged and she denies any pelvic pain" . Afterwards they described US results. The truth is I did have bleeding between my periods and do have it now. At the end of fourth month of taking pills. And I do have pelvic pain. I'm shocked with both- therapy chosen and miss information.
