5-8 spent in this place as an asthmatic short of breath. I thought I would have been seen sooner as I knew from 57 years experience I needed steroids to control my breathing I know they see the most urgent cases first but I was getting very anxious after 2 hours as I needed my 12 hour steroid inhaler at 8pm. I observed people going in to see the doctor after an hours wait seemingly looking well able to walk and talk , I couldn't. I told receptionist ( I'll have to go I need my 12 hour inhaler, my voice was whispery as I was short of breath) they said are you asthmatic I said yes , are you suffering I said yes , your in next they said so I said I'll wait then and sat back down. Three more people then went in so I told the receptionist I'll have to go , ok then they said and I went outside to phone my husband to pick me up. A horrible anxious waste of time I was very upset and distressed and I will never use this hospital again even with an asthma attack
This was the walk in centre
