"Care?"

About: Conquest Hospital / Accident and emergency

Visited via 999 to A&E ,twice.

Then admitted. Sent home too soon first time. Second was even more apporling. Both times you think every thing possible is being done. But realise afterwards it is not consistent care, and there is bad attitude to wards the elderly. Not truely caring. Treat all old people as though they are not really worth saving. Staffing is bad and the quality of staff is very patchy. Agency staff are not up to speed. Not enough Dr's on to do the job well. Delays and I am truely horrified that I trusted the person I talked to was actually going todo something on time and look after my parent when I was not there. Food is terrible , may be ok if there for a day or two. Infection control is abominable. And how I every trusted everyone todo the best I can not believe I was so gullible. Standards are really very low.. I of course have to live with my failure to look after my parent. And trusting the way NHS is run . The trouble is most people who are staff, seem pleasant enough at the time.

The system needs changing and I do not believe it is all about money.

Great shame that all the good will of people who go into the medical work, can not do,their jobs to the best standards, and some are not trained to the highest levels. That is the cleaners to the doctors.
