I have only recently found out about this website when I was discussing with my sisters how I could thank the surgeon for his good work. Most people I have spoken to have only had a bad experience with their surgery.
In March 2016 I had a total Knee Replacement. The surgery was carried out by Mr Singh. I cannot express enough the gratitude and respect I feel for him. The operation has made such a difference to my standard of life. It is great not to depend on strong painkillers to get through the day. Everything went as planned and I was lucky enough to return to work 13wks after surgery. My knee appears to be healing well and I will now have no hesitation in returning to get my other knee replaced whenever the time comes. The staff in ward 11 were also very caring and professional and although this seems strange I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in the hospital. Please thank everybody concerned for giving me a good experience of how well the NHS can work.
