"Outstanding out of hours service"

We had gone to London for a short break and we had left our daughters asthma medication at home.

The 111 Service was very good and the doctor who phoned me back was simply outstanding.

It was a Sunday and not many pharmacies were open - there was one a Boots close by that was about to shut at 9pm.

Being on holiday and not knowing our way around London with no time to get lost, the doctor offered to pick up the prescription for us, and their colleague explained how we could get to the hospital to pick it up from them - the doctor even gave us their personal mobile number in case we got lost (we didn't, their directions were perfect!)

Simply amazing above and beyond service from both the Doctor and their colleague. Just outstanding - and made our stay in London so much better.
