"Operation cancelled twice, the second time in hospital in gowns waiting to go into theatre"

About: Pinehill Hospital

(as a relative),

My relative who is in her late eighties was originally told her operation was being outsourced to Pinehill Hospital, after seeing the consultant there she was subsequently told that her operation there, along with others had been cancelled. The cynic in me says this was managing waiting list times for reporting purposes. She was then told her operation would be in August, was admitted and spent hours in gowns waiting for the operation only then to be told they were overrunning and she was discharged and told they would write to her.

She had a heart attack two years ago and this treatment has considerable stress to her

This is not person centred care nor is it acceptable patient care
