Taken by ambulance to A.& E after breaking my wrist in a gardening accident on the afternoon of Sunday September 11th.
Despite the department being rbusy I was seen swiftly, put in a temporary cast & discharged in just over 4 hours.. Returned the following morning to have the break set & was seen & treated immediately.
The procedure was explained in detail by both the doctor & the anaesthetist :& afterwards I was given painkillers & a cup of tea.
Wonderful, caring service from an extremely busy department.
I have to mention the doctor for their excellent communication & caring attitude throughout.
