Managed to slice open my left palm with a Stanley Knife whilst doing some diy. Could not stop it bleeding so was taken to Blackpool urgent care centre by my neighbour at around 12pm. On arrival I was immediately taken to be assessed before the receptionist had completed my registration where the wound was given an initial dressing to stem the blood flow. Around twenty minutes later I was called back through the injury assessed again and the necessary stiches and dressings were applied. I am sure that when genuine cases such as this are dealt with they would all be expedited in the same manner. I have nothing but praise for the way I was treated on what appeared to be a busy Friday.
