"Rude receptionists"

About: Southend Hospital

Taking my elderly mum to have monthly chemo injections is traumatic enough without having to deal with rude receptionists. We all know that gp/hospital reception desks are v busy so therefore 'customer' skills get forgotten about a bit but this morning's experience really upset me that i felt i had to complain. More or less chucking the appointment card at me without saying anything or looking at me. Not giving helpful answers when i was nothing but trying to be polite and biting my lip. Just a really horrible unnecessary unprofessional experience.
