I was recently transferred to this ward as an overnight emergency case from a private hospital, so waking up in unfamiliar surroundings the nurses were very attentive in helping me adjust. I spent 3 days on the ward during which any request I had was answered and dealt with as soon as they were able. There were a diverse mix of cases on the ward.
Some required more attention and time than others, but the nurses seemed to manage their time and tasks with great professionalism and positive attitude.
The only issue I experienced was when other departments had to contribute to my care and the ward being on top of them and actively aware that they had not turned up to see or consult me. This was most prelevent when shifts changed, but overall the nurses and consultant teams as a whole were always aware of my situation and my needs, and acted in my best interest at all times, for which I am externally thankful to them all for.
"An A grade nursing team"
