"A and E - Ward 24"

My son broke his arm and we took him to Wexham A and E.

From the start we were impressed with the staff and facilities.

Reception staff were great, A and E staff were fantastic, and the play activities were just perfect.

We were particularly impressed with the person who organised the play activities and how they dealt with our son, explaining the operation he would need, getting him a teddy and then giving the teddy a sling just like he had.

We found the staff on ward 24 were just as fantastic.

They were happy, smiling, able to talk to children and happy to answer any questions that we had.

One person was especially good, i think they were a nursery nurse and they made us all feel at ease. Our anaesthetist was also fab, they let our son play with their phone whilst he was being put to sleep.

Having been to this hospital in the past, i was concerned about taking my son, but I've now changed my mind.

I would recommend this hospital to everyone.
