I am informed that i didn't attend a follow up appointment with the consultant.I never received it.Until recently the appointment was given before one left the hospital.Is there a hidden agenda?
Why not have a return slip to inform the hospital the appointment suggested is okay? I have tried 15 times in one day to consult with the dept and to no avail.GPs have the same problem.I have had to take to writing to the hospital in the end.
I wanted the follow up and it is now 2 months overdue and the GP had to refer me again!
This is not the first time I have had troubles with St.Marys in Portsmouth
I feel it is grossly inefficient!!!How many of those figures advertised in hospitals for non attendance are due to the hospital?
They should consult properly the poor old patient
