What I liked
after all the bad press i could not fault the service.i lost my father here in sept 07 and was dreading my mum going in but she received brilliant care.The only bad thing was that no visitors were allowed due to a bug on the wards(which i blame the visitors for taking it in)on the whole the hospital was brilliant.
What could be improved
My mum stayed on victoria ward and we noticed that all staff were rushed off there feet it was soooo understaffed.Also the tv/phone system needs improving.my mum was in for 5 days and the system didnt work for anyone.so not only was there no visitors but she couldnt contact anyone.
Anything else?
On the whole i wouldnt hesitate to go in this hospital as an in patient.since 2007 when my father died i have seen massive improvements..
