"colonoscopy, polyp removal and resection."

About: Chapel Allerton Hospital Wharfedale Hospital / Colorectal surgery

(as the patient),

After being not right for sometime, my vigilant GP sent me for a colonoscopy as there was already bowel cancer in the family.

Four polyps were removed, although one had to be done at a later date due to being large and needing a resection - both procedures were fabulous, simple, with only alight discomfort! And they have literally saved my life! All I need now is to have further colonoscopys every 2yrs.

the staff were so lovely at both wharfedale and chapel allerton, I was treated with dignity and so much respect, thank you to all involved.
