"Good Services "

About: Leeds General Infirmary / Accident and emergency Scarborough General Hospital / Accident and emergency St James's University Hospital / Accident and emergency

(as a relative),

In January 2010 my daughter [aged 25] broke her foot. The service received at both St James's Hospital and Leeds General Infirmary was helpful, polite and good.

In February 2010 my husband was admitted to St James's Hospital and had an 8 night stay followed a couple of weeks later by a 3 night stay following surgery. Again, the staff could not be faulted.

On 1st April 2010 my mum fell whilst we were on holiday in Scarborough, when we got to A&E both my mother and I were treated with courtesy and respect. Mum had broken and dislocated 3 fingers.

My experiences of the NHS services have been excellent from local GP services to hospital A&E whilst on holiday.

Thank you for taking the time to feedback your family's positive experiences of health care in Yorkshire, in particular at the LGI and St James's Hospital.

I was pleased to learn you have found staff helpful, polite and the services excellent.

We will pass your comments on to the Patient Relations Manager at the Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.

Thank you once again.
