My partner was brought in by ambulance with severe pain from trigeminal neuralgia. Not impressed with A and E itself. They just ignored her until I created a scene. But when we got to Carroll Ward night nurse Asha was something else. When my partner had one of her screaming pain fits Asha soothed and calmed her in an almost motherly way. She seemed to know exactly what to do. She should be given an award for care over and above the call of duty.
