My grandson was brought to the hospital in an ambulance from Uckfield at the request of a doctor from the bird in eye surgery, ambulance arrived to take him within 15 mins of the dr's call which was very impressive , the crew were very attentive. Upon arrival we had to wait in a corridor outside a and e as a cubicle was not available for my grandson to be checked out. This was not the fault of the staff as the waiting room was full, his notes were passed on to a and e staff who assessed his situation. All the staff we encountered were brilliant and could not have been more helpful , everyone we dealt with was friendly and considering how busy they were nothing was too much trouble .
